Motley Crue has announced that they will release their next single, Saints of Los Angeles, on Rock Band, a game available for the XBox 360 and PlayStation. The song will be available for download, at a cost of 99 cents from Microsft XBox Live Marketplace and from Sony’s Playstation Store, MTV’s ViaCom said. The game competes with Activision’s Guitar Hero, another popular title.

Motley Crue rose to fame during the glam-metal era in the late-1980s. Memorable releases include “Dr. Feelgood” and “Shout at the Devil.”
